As long as it is commercial concrete, there will be the same problem. There are many reasons for waiting for materials. One is that trucks are stuck on the road. Another is there are inadequate transporting trucks at the commercial concrete batching plant. The third one is temporary material replenishment. All these will happen to wait for materials.
Waiting time is various from as short as ten minutes to as long as three or five hours. Long waiting time will lead to blockage of the pipeline or s tube.
What should we do during this period to avoid the blockage? Common processing methods are as follow.
- If the situation of waiting for materials is often, we should not sign the order until the materials of the next vehicle is arrived. It can prevent the commercial mixing station from deliberately holding on to wait for materials.
- If unpredictabel materials occurs, the operator should pay attention to it. When a truck of material is almost finished, it is necessary to ensure that the material in the hopper of the high pressure pump is full. In this way, you can prevent the blockage caused by the lack of material.
- In summer, when waiting for materials, the pump machine usually runs once every 15 minutes. And it is not work until the machine runs more than three processes. In winter, it can be operated every 30 minutes.
- A bucket of concrete material can be pump 5 times. That means, it can last for about an hour in summer, and an hour and a half in winter.
- When the material in the hopper is gone, and the new material in the commerical mixing plant hasn’t arrived, what we only can do is washing the pump and the pipe, or mixing mortar by ourselves.
- When there is no material in the hopper, it is strictly forbidden to pump the material in the pipe back into the hopper and then pump to the pipe again. It is surely that in this way, the pipe will definitely be blocked after several times. That is because reverse pumping cannot pump back the material in the horizontal pipe at the front end of the vertical pipe. It will cause a blockage in the same place.
It is very common for fine stone ultra-high pressure concrete pumps to suspend construction due to waiting for concrete materials, but it doesn’t mean that there are no methods to solve it. In the process of waiting for materials, technicians need to make improvements according to the actual situation to avoid the pipe blockage. Also, they should pay attention to clean machines timely.
